Our Journey
This whole journey started because I didn’t want my daughters to have to go through the same struggles I went through growing up. I realized it was on me to create an intentional way to dispose of menstrual items that was less wasteful than toilet paper, more responsible than plastic bags, and more practical than wax paper bags or old menstrual item wrappers. MaskIT became a vehicle for being the change I wanted to see in the world.

If we could get just 10% of menstrual items in the US to be wrapped with MaskIT instead of toilet paper, we could save 140,000 trees every year. When multiplied by the millions, one small change can make a big difference.
