If you like a bit of affordable luxury with elegant formulas and packaging, then you will love new London beauty brand Emolyne Cosmetics. They are all about the Reds and the Nudes – lip and nail colours for every skin tone – and I am instantly obsessed. Here’s what you need to know.
Emolyne Metamorphosis Velvet Semi Matte Lipstick Swatches
I have two nudes and two reds to show you and they are so gorgeous! I love the formula which feels super light and creamy to apply, and dries down to a flattering velvet finish. It delivers opaque coverage in a long lasting, non drying texture. Fabulous.
I have Libreville and Lagos from the Reds next to their matching lip definers:

The packaging is absolutely gorgeous. Each lipstick has the chicest sparkle and really cool casing.
They are similar to the Lancome L’Absolu Rouge lipstick. You simply click the E and the tube springs open for you to slide out the lipstick.
Emolyne Metamorphosis Velvet Long Wear Lip Definer
The range of lipliners includes a shade to match every shade of lipstick. It works to prevent colour bleeding or feathering. You can use them alone, as a base for extra long lasting lipstick or just to line. The formula is fantastic – really easy to apply and very long lasting.
Metamorphosis Gel Lacquer
The nail polishes promise to be ultra glossy and highly pigmented.
They come with precise brushes for easy application and deliver a gel-like finish. I love the packaging and the formula looks beautiful. I haven’t tested these yet because I am determined to let my nails have a break for a bit longer yet. I will as soon as I can though.
